Wizard and Glass, a review

I was quite split on this book - It's a massive tome and its 90% flashback. It took me like eight months to get through this thing! Not exactly sure the payoff hit for me as the climax was more in the flashback, and the rest of this epic plot has moved a few inches. Getting vulnerable Roland was cool for sure, getting a taste of when he came from was great. But I think I would've been okay with just a taste and not a full dining experience.
